Inspired by the recent discovery of the swan comet.  The blue heron symbolises self-determination, self-reliance and being master of it's own destiny.  The swan symbolises grace and being able to see into the future.  The comets represent upheaval and rebirth and the death of old ways to make room for the new.  The geese represent how working as a team can make a long journey less tiresome.
